Apigee Developer

As an Apigee Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting API management solutions within a fully remote environment. This position offers the opportunity to work on modern API platforms, helping organizations enhance connectivity, security, and scalability across their digital ecosystems. You will contribute to the implementation and optimization of API gateways, developer portals, and operational processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Accountabilities

Develop, configure, and maintain API solutions using Apigee platforms.
Design and implement API policies to support security, traffic management, and performance requirements.
Build, customize, and manage developer portals to improve API consumption and user experience.
Support day-to-day operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of API environments.
Contribute to API lifecycle management, including deployment, testing, and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between applications and backend services.
Assist in the adoption and implementation of cloud-native API management solutions and best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience with Apigee policy development, portal development, and operational support.
Strong hands-on expertise with Apigee Edge.
Working knowledge of Apigee X and Apigee Hybrid environments.
Understanding of API management concepts, API security, and integration architectures.
Experience working with cloud platforms and containerized environments.
Familiarity with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) clusters and Kubernetes-based deployments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex API-related issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment.
Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available for this position.
