This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an API Engineer in the United States.

This role provides the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain robust APIs and integration solutions that power modern data and cloud platforms. You will work across cloud environments, data services, and AI-driven applications to deliver high-performance, scalable, and secure systems. The position requires hands-on experience with full-stack development, API management, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with exposure to advanced technologies like AI, machine learning, and Kubernetes. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams to ensure seamless integration, drive automation, and improve operational efficiency. This is a highly impactful role where your work enables clients to leverage data and AI effectively while supporting enterprise-wide technology initiatives.


  • Accountabilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure APIs across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Integrate APIs with data platforms, AI/ML services, and enterprise applications.
  • Develop full-stack solutions, including backend services, workflows, and automation using RPA or serverless architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API contracts, standards, and best practices.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance, availability, and security.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes for reliable releases.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, including conversational AI, Gen AI, computer vision, and cloud-native platforms.

  • Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with strong focus on API design and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Alibaba Cloud.
  • Familiarity with full-stack development, including back-end services, RESTful APIs, and front-end integration.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML platforms, including Databricks, NVIDIA frameworks, or conversational AI solutions.
  • Experience with containerization (Kubernetes), serverless architectures, and orchestration tools.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
