Analytics Engineering Manager

Accountabilities:

Own and evolve the organization’s BI platform and semantic layer, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and long-term scalability
Define and enforce best practices for analytics engineering, including data modeling, metric definitions, and reporting standards
Oversee the development, performance, and reliability of enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions
Collaborate closely with data engineering teams to influence upstream data models and ensure alignment with analytics needs
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align on shared metrics and enable data-driven decision-making
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of analytics engineers, fostering technical excellence and collaboration
Drive adoption of self-service analytics through curated datasets, documentation, and governance frameworks

Requirements:

6–8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence, or data modeling roles
Strong expertise in SQL and dimensional modeling, with the ability to design scalable semantic layers
Proven experience working with modern BI tools (e.g., Looker) and data platforms (e.g., lakehouse or warehouse technologies)
Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring or managing technical teams
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
Ability to influence data architecture decisions without direct ownership of data pipelines
High emotional intelligence and a collaborative mindset when aligning diverse stakeholder perspectives
