This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analyst – Client Reporting and Analytics based in the United States.
The Analyst – Client Reporting and Analytics will design, develop, and support client-facing reporting and analytics solutions for life sciences clients.
This role transforms complex commercial, clinical, operational, and customer data into clear dashboards, reports, and actionable insights.
You will work closely with business, customer success, product, engineering, and data teams to translate client requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
The position combines business intelligence, dashboard development, data analysis, data validation, and client enablement in a technology-driven environment.
You will contribute to reusable analytics solutions while helping improve reporting accuracy, usability, automation, and performance across multiple engagements.
The role also provides exposure to AI-enabled reporting, predictive analytics, executive dashboards, and self-service analytics initiatives.
This is a primarily remote U.S. opportunity, with a preference for candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones.
Accountabilities:- Build, test, maintain, and enhance scalable dashboards, embedded analytics, and client-facing reporting solutions using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker.
- Develop standardized and reusable reporting and analytics solutions that can support multiple client engagements.
- Partner with customer success, product, engineering, data, and business stakeholders to understand client needs and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
- Define reporting requirements, key performance indicators, data needs, specifications, and documentation to support dashboard development and future enhancements.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to support client-ready data models, schema layers, transformations, and reporting performance.
- Analyze data and trends, validate metrics, identify meaningful insights, and provide recommendations that support business and operational decision-making.
- Validate data, reconcile reporting discrepancies, and proactively identify issues affecting reporting accuracy, consistency, or reliability.
- Maintain accurate data mappings across internal, external, and client-specific data sources.
- Support data governance, privacy, quality, and reporting standards within a life sciences environment.
- Partner with reporting and analytics leadership on AI-enabled reporting, predictive analytics, executive dashboards, and self-service analytics capabilities.
- Deliver dashboard demonstrations, user training, reporting documentation, user guides, and FAQs for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Respond to reporting and analytics questions from clients and internal teams while identifying opportunities to improve usability, automation, and dashboard performance.
- Work across a diverse technology and data environment that may include Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Excel, SQL, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Power Platform, CRM platforms, healthcare and life sciences data sources, proprietary datasets, and client data warehouses.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in reporting and analytics, business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field; 5 or more years is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience developing dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
- Tableau or Looker experience is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and SQL.
- Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational data.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data marts, data warehousing, and data transformation concepts.
- Experience gathering and translating business stakeholder requirements into practical reporting and analytics solutions.
- Ability to transform complex datasets into clear reporting, actionable insights, and client-ready visualizations.
- Experience working with life sciences, pharmaceutical, healthcare, commercial, clinical, or operational data is preferred.
- Experience with CRM data, including Veeva or Salesforce, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or AI-assisted analytics is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and data-quality skills.
- Excellent client-service and stakeholder-management abilities, with confidence communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong presentation, training, documentation, and user-enablement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate across teams, and work effectively in a primarily remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts clearly.
- Curiosity and adaptability, with an interest in learning new technologies, platforms, and data environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in analytics, information technology, business, data science, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
- Candidates located in the Eastern or Central U.S. time zones are preferred.
