This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an AI/ML Software Engineer in the United States.
As an AI/ML Software Engineer, you will design and implement secure, scalable software systems that integrate AI, analytics, and simulation capabilities to solve complex real-world problems. You will work hands-on to build APIs, data pipelines, and distributed systems that support mission-critical operations in secure environments. Collaborating with cross-functional engineering, system, and analytics teams, you will ensure robust, maintainable, and high-performance software. The role offers the opportunity to deploy cloud-native, containerized solutions while integrating AI/ML outputs into operational systems. You will contribute to testing, monitoring, and sustaining software with a focus on reliability, security, and scalability. This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving challenging technical problems end-to-end while maintaining high standards of software quality.
Accountabilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain software for AI, analytics, and simulation applications.
• Implement APIs, data pipelines, and distributed system components to enable mission-critical operations.
• Build containerized, cloud-native services using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate AI/ML models and analytics outputs into operational systems.
• Ensure secure, maintainable, and testable code following software engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with system engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure interoperability.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and testing to maintain performance and reliability.
Requirements
• U.S. citizenship and willingness to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
• 4–6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong background in full-stack or systems engineering.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, C++, or TypeScript/Angular.
• Experience building containerized, cloud-native solutions with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of distributed systems and message buses (Kafka, Redis, etc.).
• Experience integrating AI/ML models into production systems (preferred).
• Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or graph databases (preferred).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK (preferred).
• Exposure to DevSecOps, Zero-Trust, or secure deployment practices in regulated environments (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance is a plus.
