AI-Native Product Engineer

The AI-Native Product Engineer will own product initiatives end-to-end, combining engineering expertise with strong product judgment to deliver impactful solutions. The role requires the ability to translate unclear business objectives into clear workflows, technical plans, and polished user experiences while collaborating with product, design, engineering, and business stakeholders.

• Own product areas from discovery and definition through design, implementation, testing, and continuous iteration.
• Translate ambiguous goals into user workflows, product requirements, technical strategies, and execution plans.
• Identify gaps, risks, edge cases, and opportunities to improve product and technical approaches.
• Design and develop intuitive SaaS experiences, including dashboards, tables, forms, configuration flows, detail views, and user states.
• Make sound architecture decisions across data models, APIs, frontend and backend systems, permissions, integrations, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, refactoring, documentation, testing, and technical exploration.
• Review, validate, and improve AI-generated code to ensure production-quality standards.
• Communicate clearly about technical decisions, tradeoffs, progress, risks, and blockers while independently driving initiatives forward.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a senior engineer with strong product instincts, advanced technical capabilities, and the ability to deliver high-quality software in fast-moving and uncertain environments. You should be comfortable owning the full lifecycle of a product area and using AI tools as a core part of your engineering workflow.

• Senior-level software engineering experience with a track record of building, validating, and improving production applications.
• Strong product mindset with the ability to understand users, workflows, business outcomes, and success metrics.
• Proven ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments, challenge assumptions, ask thoughtful questions, and create clarity.
• Advanced experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms.
• Ability to effectively orchestrate AI tools for development, architecture exploration, testing, debugging, and rapid iteration.
• Strong technical judgment across SaaS architecture, including APIs, databases, frontend and backend systems, permissions, integrations, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Experience building polished, user-friendly SaaS interfaces and understanding modern UX patterns.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain decisions, tradeoffs, risks, and technical concepts.
• Ownership mindset with the ability to act as a multiplier for product and engineering teams.
• Ability to define workflows, data models, permissions structures, user interactions, edge cases, and implementation strategies from high-level objectives.
• Strong understanding of SaaS operational concepts such as multi-tenancy, auditability, notifications, dashboards, readiness tracking, and administrative workflows.
• Ability to balance MVP delivery with long-term scalability, usability, performance, and security considerations.
