The Advocacy & Customer Marketing Specialist II will be responsible for supporting the marketing department’s initiatives with a focus on advocacy marketing and sharing those stories and value through thought leadership tactics, social media, and marketing campaigns. The Advocacy & Customer Marketing Specialist II will be a part of cross-functional team efforts and must understand marketing objectives; be team-oriented, organized, and flexible; and possess strong writing skills, interpersonal communication skills, and creative thinking.
Customer Advocacy
- Champion Advocacy marketing efforts through online communities, social networks, events (online and in-person), and other channels both internally and externally. Share the voice of client advocates through all marketing channels such as webinars, conference sessions, user groups, webinars, case studies, videos, and other marketing assets.
- Manage Online Customer Community by creating challenges to boost engagement, posting weekly messages and interacting with advocacy members, sending new member welcome messages, managing rewards/gifting, and maintaining a calendar of exclusive member only webinars and product demos
- Coordinate efforts and build relationships with clients as Brand Advocates and Ambassadors
- Generate customer content for Marketing and other company needs
- Interact with customer advocates regularly through personalized messages, comments, and interactions
- Create social media campaigns on behalf of customer advocacy
- Solicit speakers for conference sessions and webinars, manage presentation development, and slides or other needs
- Identify and work with clients to develop testimonials and case studies including interviewing and story development
- Assist with customer satisfaction survey and use results to inform client advocacy program to strengthen client relationships and overall loyalty
Customer Marketing and Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
- Serve as a liaison between marketing, sales, and other internal stakeholders to support our customer marketing and account-base marketing strategy and initiatives
- Craft the development of creative briefs and project plans for targeted accounts and campaigns
- Manage tasks, coordinating with marketing team, in support of ABM projects
- Prepare analysis and reporting on outcomes of ABM initiatives
Additional Marketing Support
- Support marketing initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of campaigns and programs
- Provide support of marketing team with awareness, demand generation and client loyalty initiatives
- Assist in the development of sales and buyer enablement tools
- Provide support to initiatives to further increase usage of these resources
- Assist with pulling lists and reports for analysis of full marketing funnel
- Serve as liaison on a variety of projects
- Provide support to senior Marketing staff
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years’ experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other desktop applications
- Working knowledge of social media platforms
- Experience in marketing automation and CRM platforms (ex: HubSpot and Salesforce.com)
- Relationship building
- Diligent work ethic and strong organizational skills
- Willingness to undertake a wide range of tasks to complete projects on deadline.
- Demonstrated project management skills
The pay range for this position is $42,000-$57,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, geographic location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus in addition to a full range of benefits.
