Advisor InRule Developer

This role sits at the intersection of software engineering and business rules automation, focusing on building and optimizing rule-based decision systems that directly impact healthcare operations. The position involves hands-on development in .NET and C#, with a strong emphasis on designing, implementing, and maintaining complex rule logic using the InRule platform. You will contribute to system architecture, support integration efforts, and help translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will also provide technical guidance, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure high-quality delivery across development cycles. This is a highly impactful role where your work directly supports data-driven decision-making in healthcare systems.

Accountabilities:

Design, develop, test, debug, and implement moderately complex applications and rule-based systems using .NET, C#, and InRule
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into detailed system specifications and program designs
Develop and maintain InRule-based decision logic to support automation, machine learning, and process workflows
Evaluate existing systems, identify improvements, and contribute to system optimization and modernization efforts
Collaborate with project managers and development teams to assign tasks, ensure timely delivery, and maintain code quality
Provide technical consulting to stakeholders and clients, validating requirements and resolving complex technical issues
Participate in QA activities including test planning, code reviews, and validation of developed solutions
Lead or support small development sub-teams and assist in designing system components and delegating work effectively

Requirements:

9+ years of experience in application development and system implementation using .NET, C#, and Oracle
Strong hands-on experience with the InRule Rules Engine and business rules automation platforms
Proficiency in ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and Web API development
Solid experience with Entity Framework and LINQ for data access and manipulation
Strong understanding of software design principles, system architecture, and scalable application development
Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and rule-based logic
Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams with leadership responsibilities in technical delivery
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
