The Role
Acceleration Academies is currently seeking an individual who is highly proficient in high school asynchronous English/Language Arts (ELA) course development, to join a team of subject matter and curriculum experts in the creation of an online Advanced Placement Literature and Composition course. This course will be designed to match our client specifications and will be used in an asynchronous learning environment. This position is expected to require approximately 20 hours per week to complete assigned responsibilities and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree in education or directly related field
Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience with Advanced Placement Language and Composition curriculum alignment and course development and 3+ years of experience as a College Board Advanced Placement Literature and Composition Reader and/or Table Lead
Compensation: Up to $1000/lesson (50-60 lessons)
License/Certification: Currently holds an educator’s license in 6-12 ELA in any state
