This remote opportunity is designed for an experienced technology and privacy attorney specializing in digital advertising ecosystems.
The role focuses on supporting complex AdTech legal matters for a leading global organization, with responsibility for agreements, data usage frameworks, and compliance strategies.

Accountabilities:

The AdTech Lawyer will provide strategic legal support on digital advertising, privacy, and data licensing matters. The role requires managing complex agreements, advising stakeholders, and ensuring compliant data practices across multiple channels.

Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of AdTech-related agreements, including data usage, licensing, and advertising technology contracts.
Advise internal teams on privacy requirements, data-sharing activities, and compliance considerations across digital advertising channels.
Analyze and resolve legal concerns related to advertising data flows, campaign operations, and technology partnerships.
Collaborate closely with business teams and cross-functional stakeholders to provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance.
Build strong working relationships with internal partners while supporting strategic technology and marketing initiatives.
Manage contract workflows effectively, including projects requiring accelerated turnaround times of 24–48 hours.
Stay current on evolving AdTech regulations, privacy frameworks, and industry trends to provide informed legal recommendations.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced attorney with a strong background in AdTech, privacy, and technology transactions. They should combine legal expertise with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across business functions.

4+ years of progressive legal experience focused on AdTech, technology transactions, digital media, or related areas.
Demonstrated expertise in privacy law and data protection practices.
Proven experience with data licensing agreements and data-related commercial matters.
Active bar license in the state where you reside.
Strong understanding of technology, digital advertising, marketing, and data privacy legal frameworks.
Experience working cross-functionally with business, product, marketing, and operational teams.
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment with limited oversight.
Comfortable working within Pacific Time Zone business hours.
Ability to deliver high-quality legal support while balancing speed, accuracy, and business needs.
