Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate daily office operations to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients and families, providing friendly and professional customer service.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, maintaining an organized calendar for dental staff.
  • Handle patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist with billing, insurance claims, and processing payments accurately and timely.
  • Support communication between dental staff, patients, and external partners to facilitate seamless service delivery.
  • Organize community outreach efforts, including scheduling free dental screenings and coordinating educational events.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably in a healthcare or dental setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and staff.
  • Proficiency in office software including scheduling and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Knowledge of medical billing and insurance processes is highly desirable.
