About the Role:
As an Acute Care Pediatrician with Imagine Pediatrics, you will provide full-time virtual acute care services to Imagine Pediatrics patients and their caregivers as part of our innovative care model. You will help us in meeting patients where they are by providing care virtually, responding to inbound acute and perceived acute care needs, and triaging decisions to dispatch our mobile field team of allied health personnel to initiate blended virtual and in-home urgent care visits. You will:

- Foster trusting relationships with individuals, their families and caregivers, and communities, providing integrated primary, behavioral, and urgent care for kids.
- Go above and beyond to connect with people in a non-judgmental, respectful and empathic manner, to meet their needs, and to provide feedback to the system as a whole as we strive to do better every day
- Collaborate with Mobile Integrated Care allied health personnel during home visits. You will virtually meet with patients, obtain an appropriate history, assist allied health personnel in a focused physical exam, order appropriate testing and treatment, and provide appropriate follow up with requesting and primary providers.
- Oversee, and work closely with a team of Advanced Practice Providers, who will be the front line of our virtual urgent care program.
- Serve as a virtual acute care “attending”, providing clinical guidance and support.
- Participate in on-call coverage to support the 24/7 nature of the virtual acute care program.
Requirements for the Role:
- You are a licensed physician (MD/DO).
- Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a pediatric physician in a high-volume emergency department, inpatient, or urgent care setting.
- Experience managing medically complex pediatric patients required.
- Bilingual Spanish strongly desired.
- Telehealth experience a plus
- It is strongly desired that you have a license to practice in at least one of the following states: (TX or FL) and are willing to obtain licenses in all other existing and future Imagine Pediatrics markets; Imagine Pediatrics will help in this ongoing process. Candidates that do not have licensure in these states will still be considered.
- Active DEA Controlled Substance Registration or eligible for application
- Maintenance of professional credentialing and CME standards

The role offers a base salary range of $210,000 - $225,000 in addition to an annual bonus incentive, competitive company benefits package, and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable).
