This role will play a critical part in overseeing the global commissions accounting process, ensuring compliance with ASC 606, and supporting our fast-growing revenue engine. We are open to remote candidates, with a strong preference for those based on the East Coast.</div><div class="p-rich_text_section"> </div><div class="p-rich_text_section">WHAT YOU’LL DO</div><ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Own the end-to-end commissions accounting process, including monthly and quarterly accruals, amortization, and reporting in accordance with ASC 606 and US GAAP</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Oversee the calculation, validation, and reporting of commissions and variable compensation across the global sales organization</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Partner cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Payroll, FP&A, and Revenue Accounting to ensure accurate and timely commission payouts</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Lead the implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of commission systems (e.g., Spiff, Xactly, or similar)</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Support audits by providing documentation and analysis related to commissions and bonus accruals</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Review and implement controls to ensure SOX compliance for commissions-related processes</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Provide accounting guidance for new compensation plans, SPIFFs, or plan design changes</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Manage and mentor a team of commission analysts</li></ul><div class="p-rich_text_section">WHAT YOU’LL BRING</div><ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">8+ years of relevant accounting experience, with 5+ years in commission accounting</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Deep knowledge of ASC 606, commission capitalization, and SaaS industry practices</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Experience working in a high-growth tech or SaaS company – Must</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Experience with NetSuite and a commission platform such as Spiff, Xactly, or CaptivateIQ – Strong Advantage</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Office/Google Suite</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset</li></ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">Benefits Wiz offers a competitive package of benefits and programs to support you and your family.
