Accounting Manager

Accountabilities:

Lead and manage the end-to-end month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established schedules.
Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and foreign currency adjustments.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, identifying key variances and providing insights to leadership.
Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize accounting processes, improve systems, and enhance operational efficiency.
Support internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests.
Manage payroll-related accounting activities, including journal entries and variance analysis.
Contribute to technical accounting initiatives, including policy development and compliance with accounting standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.
CPA certification required.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with multi-entity, multinational accounting environments.
Experience managing intercompany transactions and foreign currency translations.
Proficiency with accounting systems such as NetSuite or similar tools.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience collaborating across departments.
