Job Description

The Accounting Manager will be an integral part of Silvaco’s finance department. Reporting to the Assistant Corporate Controller, this role will be responsible for executing core accounting activities, including month-end closing, revenue recognition, consolidation accounting and financial reporting. The Accounting Manager will also assist in maintaining internal controls and support efforts related to tax compliance and optimization.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES; include but not limited to:

  • Perform and manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Set up, coordinate, and manage new and existing multi-currency subsidiaries. Supervise internal and external accounting teams responsible for those subsidiaries to improve and streamline those processes, including AR and AP.
  • Apply appropriate revenue recognition practices in compliance with company policies and accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606).
  • Prepare and review consolidation accounting entries and assist with preparing consolidated financial statements.
  • Support the preparation of internal and external financial reports, including variance analyses and management reporting.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining effective internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure proper accounting treatment.
  • Support audits by preparing schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
  • Contribute to tax compliance and optimization activities by providing necessary accounting data and support to the tax team.
  • Ensure accounting practices are aligned with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
  • Other accounting and operational projects as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

 

  • Bachelor’s or higher in accounting or related field
  • A minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in high-tech companies
  • 1+ year of supervisory experience.
  • CPA and/or big 4 public accounting experience, a plus
  • Significant experience with international intercompany and pricing transfer agreements
  • Experience with ERP systems; Intacct a plus
  • Strong technical knowledge of ASC 606 and US GAAP
  • Strong knowledge of operational and financial controls, including the ability to assess, develop and implement.
  • Experience in SAAS software or semiconductor industry, a plus

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Someone who’s willing to rollup their sleeves to dive into the details.
  • Highly organized, detailed oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Additional Information

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,385 to 147,384. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.
Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
