In this role, you'll lead day-to-day accounting operations, support month-end close, help scale our financial infrastructure, and ensure compliance with GAAP. You'll be a key partner in building out scalable processes that support the company’s growth and evolving business model. What you’ll do <ul><li>Assist in managing the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close activities by running a disciplined close and reporting process including preparation of financial statements, consolidations, flux analytics and KPI metrics to support internal and external reporting needs </li><li>Provide technical accounting expertise to ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards and perform special technical assessments as needed </li><li>Help to develop and execute deliverables, and manage the external auditors and other professional service providers as needed </li><li>Evaluate and continually improve accounting procedures, processes, and systems to ensure standardized and efficient accounting operations, whilst also maintaining a robust control environment </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accurate accounting and reporting </li><li>Lead and mentor junior accounting staff or outsourced partners as needed </li><li>Evaluate and help implement accounting systems, tools, and automation processes for scalability</li></ul>What we are looking for: <ul><li>Bachelor's degree and/or Master in Accounting or Finance </li><li>CPA license </li><li>6-8 years of progressive accounting experience, including: </li><li>3+ years in public accounting (Big 4 or regional firm preferred) </li><li>Experience in a high-growth startup or technology company </li><li>Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting. </li><li>Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, ambiguous, and fast-changing environments. </li><li>Experience with accounting software, NetSuite preferred. </li><li>Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills. </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset. </li></ul> <div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">As a remote position, the salary range for this role is:</div><div class="pay-range">$110,000—$130,000 USD</div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion">Total Rewards Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal equity.  Salary is just one component of Transcarent's total package.
