This role sits at the intersection of accounting expertise, technical implementation, and client delivery, supporting complex data migrations and system integrations for high-value customers. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless transitions of accounting data from multiple CRM and financial systems into platforms such as QuickBooks and Intacct. The position requires strong analytical thinking, hands-on accounting knowledge, and the ability to guide clients through technically and operationally complex implementations. You will act as both a trusted advisor and a technical SME, working closely with stakeholders ranging from accounting practitioners to senior finance leadership. In a fast-paced and high-impact environment, you will manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy, structure, and strong client relationships. This is a highly collaborative role where communication, ownership, and problem-solving are essential to success.
Accountabilities:- Lead accounting data migration projects from multiple CRM and accounting systems into QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and Intacct platforms.
- Manage several concurrent client implementations, ensuring timely delivery, accuracy, and high-quality outcomes.
- Serve as an accounting subject matter expert, supporting internal product and integration improvements.
- Communicate effectively with clients across all levels, from operational accounting teams to Controllers and CFOs.
- Facilitate client sessions to define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client accounting needs and project milestones.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while proactively escalating issues when necessary.
- Act as a key client-facing representative, building strong, long-term relationships and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience combining accounting, data analysis, and client-facing project or account management responsibilities.
- Strong academic background in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA certification is a plus.
- Solid hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and balance multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders confidently.
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design creative and practical solutions.
- Familiarity with software implementation or agile development environments is a plus.
