This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Account Manager - Specialty Beverage in United States.

This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of specialty beverage accounts across foodservice chains and regional beverage-focused customers. You will drive sales growth, strengthen customer relationships, and promote innovative beverage solutions that align with client needs and menus. The position requires strategic account planning, execution of pricing strategies, and management of diverse projects to optimize the use of technologies and resources. You will analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class service. The role demands a proactive, customer-focused approach and the ability to influence at all organizational levels. Frequent travel, up to 50%, will be required to engage directly with accounts and execute strategies.


Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute account plans to defend and expand the existing customer base, increasing menu adoption of beverage products.
  • Identify new business opportunities within target accounts, offering value-added solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Manage customer relationships at all organizational levels, ensuring alignment with objectives, culture, and strategic goals.
  • Lead pricing, sales execution, and project management across a diverse portfolio, utilizing internal resources efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate projects, leverage technologies, and optimize customer solutions.
  • Analyze business trends, customer behavior, and market dynamics to develop strategies for revenue growth and account penetration.
  • Ensure all initiatives are documented and tracked using CRM and reporting tools to monitor performance and outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing Top 200 chain customers in a foodservice sales environment.
  • Strong background in beverage applications such as coffee, smoothies, teas, energy drinks, or specialty beverages.
  • Proven experience managing new product development from concept to commercialization.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to integrate communication into the sales process effectively.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% and work across multiple customer locations, ideally based in the Midwest or West regions.
