This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Account Manager - Data Center Colocation in the United States.

This role is focused on driving strategic account growth within the fast-evolving data center and critical power infrastructure space. You will manage key customer relationships across large enterprise accounts, ensuring the delivery of high-performance colocation and power solutions that support mission-critical operations. Acting as the main commercial interface, you will combine technical understanding with strong sales execution to expand existing business while developing new opportunities. The position requires close collaboration with internal engineering, operations, and legal teams to ensure seamless contract execution and customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in shaping long-term partnerships with data center clients by aligning solutions with their infrastructure and scalability needs. This is a highly dynamic role where commercial strategy, technical knowledge, and relationship management intersect. You will operate in a global, fast-paced environment supporting critical digital infrastructure growth.


Accountabilities:
  • Manage and grow strategic enterprise accounts within the data center colocation and critical power solutions space.
  • Develop new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships across assigned accounts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring strong engagement at multiple organizational levels.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, quotes, and change orders in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as operations, engineering, and legal to ensure smooth contract execution and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline tracking and activity reporting within CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Monitor account performance, risks, and KPIs while proactively addressing issues and driving resolution.
  • Support initiatives to improve operational efficiency and maximize profitability across managed accounts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in account management or technical sales, ideally within data center, power electronics, or critical infrastructure industries.
  • Strong experience managing large enterprise or strategic customer accounts.
  • Knowledge of low voltage power distribution, data center infrastructure, or related technical environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in contract negotiation and sales execution.
  • Ability to engage confidently with both technical and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing or industrial technology-driven business environments is an advantage.
