This role is a high-impact client-facing position focused on driving strategic growth and delivering exceptional outcomes for complex federal and scientific accounts. You will act as the primary liaison for clients, understanding their missions and aligning technology solutions to meet evolving needs. The role combines consultative sales, account strategy, and relationship management, requiring both technical fluency and strong business acumen. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand account territory, implement innovative solutions, and ensure customer success. This position demands a proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. With a strong focus on strategic planning and client engagement, you will play a key role in shaping long-term partnerships and driving measurable business impact.


Accountabilities:
  • Lead consultative account management and technology solution sales for large, complex federal scientific accounts, including DoE, NASA, and EPA.
  • Develop and execute strategic account growth plans to drive product and professional services business.
  • Collaborate with engineering, business development, and leadership teams to align solutions with client objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of clients’ missions, IT environments, and challenges to provide tailored, high-value solutions.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, OEMs, and internal teams to support account success.
  • Drive adoption of technology solutions that improve client outcomes and business performance.
  • Monitor and report on account performance, revenue growth, and pipeline opportunities.
Requirements:
  • 8–10 years of experience in technology sales or account management within federal scientific or complex IT accounts.
  • Proven track record of consultative selling, delivering business outcomes, and driving revenue growth.
  • Deep knowledge of IT solutions, including Networking, Cybersecurity, Data Center & Cloud, Data & AI, and Collaboration technologies.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel 30–50%, with preference for candidates based in the Western United States.
