This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Raintree Systems. We are currently looking for an Account Executive - Southwest (DPT/PT/Physical Therapy/EHR) in Arizona (USA), Colorado (USA), Kansas (USA), Nevada (USA), New Mexico (USA), Oklahoma (USA), Texas (USA), and Utah (USA).

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across a defined multi-state territory, focusing on delivering innovative healthcare technology and services to physical therapy practices. You will manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, while building lasting relationships with clients. The position involves engaging with mid-sized to large practices, introducing software and revenue cycle management solutions, and expanding the customer base through strategic business development. You will work closely with internal teams to provide market feedback, refine sales strategies, and meet ambitious revenue targets. This is a dynamic role suited for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a competitive, client-focused environment.

Accountabilities

  • Manage an assigned multi-state sales territory to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Generate new business from mid-sized to large physical therapy practices, offering software, SaaS, RCM solutions, and partner products.
  • Prospect using direct outreach (calls, meetings) and indirect methods (networking, referrals).
  • Qualify leads, build a strong sales pipeline, and follow up on marketing-generated prospects.
  • Track and manage opportunities within the CRM, ensuring accurate forecasts and timely updates.
  • Drive the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Develop account plans outlining opportunities, key stakeholders, buying processes, and sales forecasts.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes to position solutions effectively.
  • Provide product demonstrations and articulate value propositions clearly to decision-makers.
  • Offer actionable feedback to marketing and sales leadership regarding market conditions and lead quality.
  • Travel within territory and to industry events as required (up to 50%).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience (Doctorate of Physical Therapy a plus).
  • Minimum 5 years of proven success in SaaS sales within regulated industries such as healthcare IT, FinTech, or InsureTech.
  • Experience with EMR/EHR or other systems of record preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare IT landscape or hands-on experience in healthcare practice operations.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, and outreach tools such as Outreach.io.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Ability to manage detailed tasks with accuracy and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to work well with diverse teams.
