Account Executive - Revenue Cycle Management Services (RCM)

This role is focused on driving new business growth by selling Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services and integrated software solutions to mid-sized and large physical therapy practices. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline development through negotiation and closing, with responsibility for meeting and exceeding revenue targets. The position requires a strong ability to articulate complex healthcare financial workflows and demonstrate how RCM solutions improve cash flow, reduce denials, and increase operational efficiency. You will act as a trusted advisor to healthcare providers, combining consultative selling with deep industry knowledge. The environment is fast-paced, performance-driven, and highly customer-focused, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. This is a remote role with significant autonomy and travel to engage clients and industry stakeholders.

Accountabilities

Manage and grow a dedicated sales territory by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities within physical therapy practices.
Lead the full sales cycle, clearly communicating the value of RCM services and software solutions across patient intake, billing, claims, and collections workflows.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and conversion of inbound leads.
Deliver compelling product demonstrations and lead contract negotiations to secure new client partnerships.
Develop strategic account and territory plans that identify stakeholders, buying processes, and revenue opportunities.
Maintain accurate forecasting and activity tracking in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to support revenue planning and reporting.
Travel up to 50% to meet clients, attend industry events, and support business development efforts.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of successful SaaS sales experience, preferably within healthcare IT or other regulated industries.
Proven track record selling Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services or healthcare billing solutions.
Strong understanding of the RCM lifecycle, including patient intake, claims processing, denials management, and collections.
Experience selling into healthcare providers; exposure to physical therapy markets is a strong plus.
Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and standard business applications (Google Suite, Microsoft Office).
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously.
Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tailor solutions to client needs.
