At Rillet, we are looking for an exceptional Account Executive Manager to build, lead, and scale a high-performance sales team during a critical phase of growth. This is a player-coach role for a proven sales leader who knows how to translate strategy into execution, develop talent, and consistently deliver results in a fast-moving, high-bar environment.
The right person brings deep experience managing and mentoring Account Executives selling complex B2B software, ideally into finance, accounting, or operational buyers. You have strong sales judgment, a disciplined approach to pipeline and forecasting, and a clear philosophy for coaching reps to excellence. You are equally comfortable in the weeds of deal strategy as you are setting expectations, driving accountability, and partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, RevOps, and Product.
We're looking for teammates who value in-person collaboration and are within commutable distance of our NYC or San Francisco offices (or willing to relocate). Team members are required to work in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one additional flexible in-office day. Certain roles may require additional in-office time based on function.
Manage and develop a team of 5–10 AEs
Run weekly pipeline reviews and forecast calls
Coach reps on discovery, POVs, and deal strategy
Partner with SE leadership to align demo and workflow processes
Collaborate on ICP, segmentation, and pricing refinement
Hire and ramp new AEs as the org scales
Establish consistent execution rhythms for a young AE team
6–10 years total sales experience with 2–5 years management
Experience managing AEs in technical and complex SaaS environments
Strong coaching and talent development abilities
Comfortable in ambiguous early-stage GTM environments
Self starter is a must
Strong forecasting and pipeline governance capabilities
Experience partnering with technical pre-sales teams
Operationally structured with high attention to detail
Clear communicator with strong narrative instincts
