About this Position

Our Employee Experience (EX) practice is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business across our HCM portfolio, including Rippling, Sage HCM, UKG, and other HCM solutions. This role is focused on acquiring new customers and advising mid-size to larger organizations on payroll, HR, and workforce management technology.


As an Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting through close—working with organizations that have growing or complex workforce needs. This role is ideal for a consultative, hunter‑oriented seller with experience navigating HR, payroll, and compliance conversations and aligning solutions to business outcomes.


Job Responsibilities


Business Development & New Logo Sales

  • Own new customer acquisition and consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets.
  • Prospect and develop new opportunities through outbound activity, referrals, events, and partner collaboration.
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline of mid-size and larger businesses.
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand workforce challenges, compliance needs, and growth plans.


Consultative / Solution Selling

  • Position Rippling, Sage HCM, UKG, and related HCM solutions based on client needs.
  • Conduct tailored demos and presentations aligned to HR, payroll, and operational requirements.
  • Guide prospects through solution evaluation and buying decisions.
  • Develop proposals and negotiate agreements to close new business.


Relationship & Partner Engagement

  • Build relationships with business leaders and HR decision‑makers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to support deal progression and successful handoff.
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle.


Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and pipeline management using Dynamics 365 or similar CRM tools.
  • Provide regular forecasts, activity reporting, and pipeline updates.


Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience selling HCM, payroll, HRIS, or workforce management solutions strongly encouraged.
  • Experience selling to mid-size businesses and/or larger organizations.
  • Proven success in new business (hunter) sales roles.
  • Comfort selling complex solutions involving payroll, HR, and compliance considerations.
  • Strong experience engaging HR, finance, and executive decision‑makers.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 or comparable CRM platforms.
  • Ability to manage a full sales cycle in a target‑driven environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: $75,000 to $85,000.

This position is also eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
