JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Account Executive for our medical coding team, based in India. The primary responsibility of this role will be managing and overseeing the medical coding operations for our clients, ensuring high-quality and accurate coding services are provided in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns, ensuring satisfaction, and providing updates on coding progress.

2. Project Oversight: Coordinate with the India-based coding team to ensure timely and accurate completion of coding tasks, meeting client expectations and deadlines.

3. Quality Assurance: Review coding quality, ensuring adherence to the ICD, CPT, HCPCS, and other relevant coding standards. Work with global team to ensure there are  corrective actions where necessary to maintain accuracy.

4. Reporting: Provide regular reports to clients on coding progress, potential issues, and key metrics related to coding accuracy and productivity.

5. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and recommend improvements to coding processes, utilizing feedback from both clients and internal teams to increase efficiency and quality.

6. Compliance & Training: Ensure that all coding activities are in compliance with healthcare regulations (such as HIPAA) and work with education and auditing to assist in training of coding team on any changes in coding guidelines or industry best practices.

7. Billing Coordination: Work closely with clients to align coding outputs with billing processes, ensuring that claims are submitted correctly and timely for reimbursement.

8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments (e.g., billing, auditing) to ensure the overall success of client projects and resolve any issues that arise.

9. Access Collaboration: Work directly in client access system to initiate uder access requests.

Qualifications:

• Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) 

• Previous experience in medical coding, billing, or healthcare account management.

• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage client expectations in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance.

• Experience with medical coding software and tools is a plus.

Team Member may experience elevated levels of stress during periods of increased activity and with work entailing multiple deadlines.
