We're hiring our first Account Executive—the founding member of amplo's sales team.
This is a rare opportunity for someone with deep roots in the property and casualty insurance world who is ready to bring that expertise to a different kind of challenge. You know how agencies and brokerages operate, you have relationships that open doors, and you carry credibility that takes most sellers years to build. We'll give you a product worth selling, a market ready for change, and the support to grow into a full sales motion.

As our founding Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle end to end while helping build the foundation for how we sell.
Own and consistently hit clear, ambitious revenue targets
Run the entire sales process: outbound prospecting, discovery, demos, stakeholder alignment, negotiation, and close
Leverage existing relationships and deep industry knowledge to generate early traction with P&C agencies and brokerages
Develop fluency in amplo's product and translate that into the language and workflows your customers already understand
Work closely with Product to bring real-world customer and prospect feedback into roadmap discussions
Help define early sales processes, tooling, qualification standards, and forecasting practices
Build trusted relationships with senior leaders at brokerages and agencies
Act as a thought partner to leadership as we evolve our go-to-market strategy and scale
This role will grow with the company — you won't just execute the playbook, you'll help write it.
A P&C Insurance Insider
4+ years of experience working in or selling into the P&C insurance space — at a brokerage, agency, carrier, or MGA
Deep familiarity with how independent agencies and brokerages operate: their workflows, pain points, buying dynamics, and decision-makers
An existing network of relationships with agency principals, brokerage leaders, or operational decision-makers in P&C
Credibility that opens conversations others can't get

Prior experience in a quota-carrying or revenue-generating sales role
Exposure to insurtech, vertical SaaS, or technology-enabled workflows
Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup
Prior involvement in building or refining a sales motion from scratch
Consistently hits or exceeds agreed revenue targets with a healthy, well-qualified pipeline
Has converted existing relationships and industry credibility into early customer traction
Built a repeatable discovery and demo motion grounded in deep product and industry fluency
Operates as a trusted voice in GTM decisions
Established early sales artifacts that others can build on
Remote-first environment with the ability to work anywhere in the US within 3 hours of EST

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 – $150,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for variable compensation, which will be discussed during the interview process and structured to reward strong performance and impact.
