Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial instincts with consultative skills to uncover new use cases, multi-thread relationships, and position MessageGears as a long-term strategic partner. This role demands collaboration across Customer Success, Solution Consulting, and Product to expand ARR and increase adoption across multiple lines of business.
Key Responsibilities
- Expansion Strategy & Execution: Own and execute account plans to drive cross-sell and multi-product adoption across assigned accounts.
- Executive Relationship Building: Build trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders (CIOs, CMOs, data leaders) to align MessageGears solutions with strategic business objectives.
- Commercial Growth: Meet or exceed revenue targets through expansion opportunities, which will help protect the high retention rates
- Discovery & Opportunity Identification: Partner with Customer Success and Solution Consulting to uncover customer pain points, new use cases, and growth opportunities.
- Internal & External Orchestration: Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and align with client stakeholders to advance expansion initiatives.
- Account Planning & Forecasting: Maintain detailed account plans, forecast expansion pipeline, and report on progress to executive leadership.
- Customer Evangelism: Represent MessageGears at executive business reviews, industry events, and customer forums to reinforce our value and thought leadership.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in enterprise account management, account director, or customer growth roles within SaaS, preferably in marketing technology.
- Proven track record of expansion revenue growth in complex enterprise accounts (multi-product, multi-LOB).
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover business needs and translate them into commercial outcomes.
- Skilled at managing VP+ relationships and navigating complex organizational structures.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams (CSMs, Solution Consultants, Product) to deliver customer outcomes.
- Industry knowledge in Customer Data Platforms, ESPs, Push & SMS, and enterprise marketing ecosystems preferred.
- Proven experience partnering with Customer Success organizations to drive adoption, identify growth opportunities, and convert customer outcomes into measurable revenue expansion.
